Exterior Stripping

The Stripper that gets it off everytime

Any Paint – Any Varnish – Any Surface

No Sanding – So Easy!

Has your exterior stripping project turned into a nightmare? Are you frustrated when you crack a window with the heat gun? or after the many hours of surviving the stink and chemical burns from using a regular paint stripper you realise you now need to spend many more dusty hours of toxic sanding to get anywhere near a result you’re happy with, you find yourself wondering why you ever started.
If this is you then welcome to Cooper’s Strip Club, manufacturers and suppliers of what we believe to be the world’s best stripping products, advice & back up support.

With Coopers you’ll get the results you always wanted without the pain of sanding, why sand when the person who made your project sanded it for you? Simply dissolve the old finish with Cooper’s Stripper then rinse the surface clean with Cooper’s Flusher.

The result is a surface that’s Clean, Dry and Absorbent, which is exactly what a new finish needs if it is to survive.

The Cooper’s System does not raise the grain due to there being no water in the Cooper’s Products or in the stripping process.

Coopers has been used for Exterior stripping for nearly 40 years, where you can safely and easily strip Lead Paint, Enamel Paint, Acrylic Paint, Two Pack Paint, Powder Coating, Polyurethane, Exterior Varnish, Tung Oil, Danish Oil, Stain.

Strip any of these finishes from any solid timber including Kauri, Rimu, Totara, Matai, Beech, cedar, Redwood, Oregon, Huon pine, Tasmanian Oak, Jarrah, Baltic Pine, Oak, Teak, Ply Wood, even metal fittings and castings made from Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel and cast iron.

And when we say Exterior Stripping we mean your Soffits, Guttering, Windows of any design, Glass, Painted Weatherboard, Painted or Stained Shiplap, Stained Cedar Weatherboard, Cement Weatherboard, Cedar Garage Door, Entrance Door, French Doors, Timber Decking (Ribbed or flat), Pergola, even your Garden Furniture.

The Cooper’s System does not pollute the environment, being wet and dustless, our specialist masking products completely contain all the old finish being stripped as well as any residual Stripper or Flusher, this means nothing escapes to harm our environment.

When it comes to time and money the good news is you’re going to save a lot of both! You’ll save time because you’re not going to be sanding and you’ll save money because a little Cooper’s goes a really long way, up to ten times the distance of a regular Paint Stripper.

We recommend the ideal way to use Cooper’s is by purchasing the correct sized Stripping Pack for your project, a Cooper’s Stripping Pack contains the main products required to give you the No Sanding advantage of the Cooper’s Strip Club.

With Coopers you’ll produce a surface that’s Clean, Dry and Absorbent, which is exactly what a new finish needs if it is to survive.

A great way to learn how to use Coopers is to watch our many short length tutorial videos or our real-time videos that show you the actual project being done in real-time so you don’t miss a thing.

We also encourage you to send us pictures of your project so that we can advise you on the correct techniques required and the amount of product needed.

How to prepare a bungalow window for painting
No Sanding - So Easy!
A project of two halves
We found the timber quality of the windows top half was in great shape due to the thick lead paint still being intact and doing its job while the bottom half was a different story.
The bottom half was covered in heavy grinder marks left by a ‘timber butcher’ leaving the timber in such a roughened state the new paint soaked in so deeply, there was not enough paint to seal the timber causing the new paint to fail.
See how easily Cooper’s Paint & Varnish Stripping Products strips the failed paint, removed the grinder marks and removed the deep ingrained paint, all without sanding being required, leaving both halves ready for new paint.

Once the stripping is complete and providing you don’t need to repair any pre existing damage or blemish, you are now ready to apply a new finish, if you’re looking for a clear finish then Cooper’s Moisturiser is definitely worth your consideration.

Cooper’s Moisturiser is like leather care, but for wood, it provides a rich natural looking finish that offers long lasting beauty and protection from sun and moisture.

Cooper’s Moisturiser is non skin forming, absorbing deeply into the wood, it conditions the wood to provide protection from within. This offers amazing benefits over a finish that forms a coating that will once again breakdown and fail in the harsh sun.

A free sample of our Moisturiser is included in all our Stripping Packs.
