Automotive

All automotive projects are easy to restore with our products and techniques, which include:

Cars, Motorcycles, Trucks, Buses, Tractors, Metal Trailers, Caravans

Structural

Structural projects can vary dramatically. But these examples are all suitable for our products and techniques, which include:

Metal Windows, Steel Doors, Metal Rooves, Metal Garage Doors, Metal Fences, Metal Railing, Metal Guttering, Brass Foot Step Covers

Furniture
Our products are ideal for a wide range of furniture, which includes:
Metal outdoor Furniture, Metal Indoor Furiture, Chairs, Recliners, Benches, Tables
Antiques

Many old or rare antiques can be extremely fragile. Most can have delicate patinas, our products and techniques are ideal for non-destructive restoration of many metal artifacts which include:

Die-Cast Metal Models, Collectables, Heirlooms

Cost Efficiency

Our products save you money.
Why? because of the extremely efficient coverage of our products. When used with our methods, you can typically expect up to ten times the distance when used against a conventional chemical stripping product.

Fast Acting

Our Products save you time.
Our products work quickly and need significantly less effort from you to finish the project.

No Sanding

Usually, most of the time in a project is wasted sanding and grinding. Our Products and techniques let you strip down the bare metal without leaving residue.
*Pre-existing damage or Rust may require separate sanding or repair work.

Clean and Tidy

We call it a controlled mess.
because the paint comes off wet, there is no dust, and all the waste can easily land on a plastic sheet for a quick clean up.

Strip from any Metal

Our Products are effective and safe to use on many metal types, which include:
Aluminium, Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, Sheet Metal, Sheet Aluminium, Galvanized Metal

Strip ANY Paint

Our products strip ANY Paint, this includes:

Lead Paint, Etched Primers, Acrylic/Latex/Emulsion paint, Enamel Paint, Two Pack Paint, Powder Coating, Clear Coating, Grease, Caked on Engine oil

Friendlier for the Environment

Dust can be a nightmare for your health and can pollute your home, workspace, soil and water for several years. Our stripping techniques don’t produce dust, and the paint waste can easily be disposed of responsibly.

Low Noise

You can work on your project after dark, or anytime that suits your schedule. Save your hearing and your relationship with your neighbours,
due to not needing loud power tools.

Non-corrosive

Strong corrosives can easily damage metal surfaces and leave pitting, which creates extra, unnecessary repair work.
Our Stripper and Flusher products are neither acid or alkali. This allows you to use the products on metal surfaces for as long as you need to dissolve the paint without damaging the metal.

Spray Application

Spraying the products instead of using a brush saves you product and allows you to re-apply cleanly and easily.

The Stripper that gets it off everytime!

“After using heaps of other products, once being shown how to use Cooper’s, nothing else comes close”

Simon Kriehn

“If I had to sand, I would have ended up just repainting it all.”

Andrew Hopping

“Once it’s Coopered, it’s done forever. The Shellac surfaces were dark and beaded. Now the smooth, light surfaces are a joy.”

John & Susan Sweetman

“The overall ease of Cooper’s is really good.”

Antony & Jo Wood

Stripping Tutorial
How to Strip thick Paint
1969 E Type Jaguar
Enzo Ferrari is said to have cried
“The most beautiful car ever made”
Watch how easy it was to strip the many coats of paint and spray putty from the bonnet of this 1969 E Type Jaguar using Cooper’s Paint & Varnish Stripping Products

Using Cooper’s
See how after only 20 minutes of applying a few light applications of Cooper’s Stripper we were easily able to remove all the multiple coats of paint and most of the spray putty down to the steel in one go
Then watch how we removed the remaining spray putty by scrubbing another application of stripper with Steel Wool
Finally watch how we remove all the soft residues of old paint and putty using Cooper’s Flusher, the result being a surface that’s ready for a new finish without any sanding being required (unless you’ve uncovered damage that 1st needs repairing)
A Special Thanks
Cheers to Warren from Auckland for letting the Cooper’s Strip Club strip the bonnet of his beautiful Jaguar

How to Strip Paint off Fibreglass
1971 Corvette Stingray
Watch how we easily Stripped the Clear Coat and Paint from the fibreglass bonnet of this 1971 Corvette Stingray using Cooper’s Paint & Varnish Stripping Products

Using Cooper’s
See how Cooper’s Stripper rapidly dissolves the old clear coat and paint down to the spray putty and is easily removed by scrubbing with Steel Wool
Then watch how we removed the soft residues of old paint and Stripper using Cooper’s Flusher to avoid causing any damage to the spray putty and/or fibreglass
You now have a surface that’s clean and dry, and is ready for a new finish (unless you’ve uncovered damage that first needs repairing)
Using the Cooper’s system means you’ll be stripping your next project without needing to sand it

Using Conventional Stripping Methods
Conventional Stripper is usually quite destructive to fibreglass so most people opt for sanding, just imagine the time and work it would take to sand a Corvette
In addition to the physical drama of sanding there's also all that toxic messy dust floating around, getting into everything it shouldn’t.
